Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Campo Grande and stay the night in our hotel.
Day 2
After enjoying our early morning breakfast we drive towards Bonito stopping at Rio da Prata around mid day for lunch.
After lunch we head to Buraco das Araras the Macaw Sinkhole where we photograph for the afternoon.
Once finished we drive to Bonito and stay the night at Olho D'Agua.
Day 3
After breakfast we head back to Buraco das Araras for a morning shoot with the Macaw.
At lunch time we head to Rio da Prata for lunch and thereafter snorkelling and drifting along the crystal-clear Rio da Prata river.
After our snorkelling activity we head back to Bonito where we stay at Olho D'Agua again.
Day 4
After breakfast we head down to the crystal clear river in Bonito and photograph the Piraputanga / Jumping fish.
Once finished with the jumping fish we head back to the lodge, pack up, check out and start our journey to Pousada Aguapé.
We enjoy lunch along the way arriving at Aguape early/mid afternoon.
Afternoon gamedrive with dinner at the lodge.
Day 5
Full day at Aguape photographing Hyacinth Macaws / Toucans / Giant Anteaters / Southern Tamanduas and so much more.
Breakfast lunch and dinner at Aguape.
Day 6
Early morning photo session with Toucans / Macaws / Armadillos and more.
After breakfast we head to our charter flight that will fly us to Porto Jofre Northern Pantanal - flight time 1 hr 20 min.
We arrive in Porto Jofre, transfer to the houseboat.
We'll enjoy lunch before we set off for the afternoon in search of Jaguars, Cayman, Capybaras and more.
Day 7 - 12
Full days exploring the river systems in search of Jaguars.
Meals on the houseboat.
Day 13
After a morning on the river in search of Jaguars we head back to Porto Jofre where we take our road transfer to Pousada Piuval where we soend the night.
Piuval is also a good Jaguar location and the area is well known for Ocelot frequenting the lodge.
Day 14
Early breakfast at Piuval.
Depending on flight times booked by guests we either have a last morning photo shoot in the lodge or we depart for Cuiaba Airport where we end the tour.
